Aims & Scope
The journal Ageing and Longevity Research aims to expand our knowledge in the fields of ageing and longevity. Its ambition is indeed to publish papers that explore the multifaceted factors influencing both successful and unsuccessful ageing processes, as well as longevity, by dissecting the mechanisms underlying the prevention or promotion of age-related diseases. We seek contributions from various disciplines related to ageing and longevity, including genetics and genomics, epigenetics and epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and transcriptomics, cellular biology and biochemistry, immunobiology and immunopathology, or other related areas. We also welcome papers that investigate innovative interventions to promote healthy ageing and examine the roles of social sciences and public health in fostering longevity. Therefore, by disseminating cutting-edge research conducted both in humans and in models, the journal aims to create interdisciplinary connections, thereby facilitating a comprehensive understanding of ageing and longevity. Ultimately, we aspire to enhance the quality of life for individuals as they age.
